Hi! I'm from South Africa (more or less Johannesburg area) and new to gardening. I do not have "green fingers" at all and this year I've decided that I'm going to keep trying because I just love plants! Mostly I'm trying to plant in containers to start with and it's already so confusing! I don't want to cause any plant unnecessary harm but I have to tell you it's not going well.... I am determined to get it right though! So any tips and suggestions are most welcome!

:setc_034: Hi Christa, very good to meet you. You have found a wonderful community of friendly gardeners of all levels here.
Never beat yourself up if things with your plants don't go as planned, just remember that every masterful gardener started just the way that you are now, making mistakes, yes - but determined to press on.

I've been at it for a pretty long time, and I'm still making mistakes - but my mistakes have often been my greatest learning opportunities.
