Thank you all for the nice anniversary wishes! We did have a fun day--went to the zoo for a "behind the scenes" visit to the herpatarium. We fed and scratched the throats of Galapagos tortoises, petted a python, and saw the different snakes, turtles, and skinks in the holding tanks. We'll get the photos downloaded and I'll post a couple tomorrow. We took honey with us for the orangutans, and stopped by their area to give them a sweet treat (actually, the curator gave them the honey, since orangs are very strong and can't be petted approached by strangers). They do love honey!
