I bought 40 lbs of black oil sunflower seeds and 50 lbs. of cracked corn for them and mixed it together. They all have smiles on their faces now! :)

I'm glad your birds are happy. :D I feed ours in winter in order to hear them sing in spring. That makes me happy.

I don't have any big corn eaters here. I am always cleaning it off of the tray when I clean the tray a couple times a week. Maybe they aren't hungry enough for it...maybe the colder weather will make them like it or I am going to quit buying the food with it in.. My birds love the peanuts and the sunflower chips...aren't most birds spoiled?

Sherry, try putting the corn on the ground. Morning dives are ground eaters. I usually have a flock of them on the ground under my feeder. This morning I had 14 of them out there. They are fun to watch. When they walk, their heads bob front and back. They can't walk without bobbing their heads.

My Mourning doves use my tray feeder too...I wish they wouldn't because I have a couple of them I call Miss Piggy that chase all the other birds off of the tray, even the Blue jays. They eat under all of my feeders but they do like the tray the most...sometimes it seems like I have hundreds when I walk out into the yard they get scared and fly off and it makes so much noise with so many leaving at the same time.
