Thank you for the birthday wishes! We were out all day, here and there riding the buses and greeting friends and receiving Happy Birthday wishes from them. We went to our favorite place for lunch and the staff gave me a carrot cake with frosting that had candy carrots on the top. They all gathered around the table and sang Happy Birthday to me. dooley

I really miss having a garden. We live in an apartment now and I only have two jade plants. I think it is the first place we have lived where I couldn't at least have a flower bed. I grew up on farms or we had gardens until I left high school. Since then it's depended on where we lived. Now we are city people with no yards or gardens. dooley
