I think they cancelled it here for most people have no power yet.

Too dangerous and you can't drive all the roads

I have my broomstick all fueled up and ready to go, and have been practicing my "cackle" all day. Yup, I'm ready to scare the bejeebers out of anyone who comes to the door! :sete_079:

Ghosts, goblins, princesses and other sundry creatures appear at our door. All are sent on their away with a bribe of candy.

Nov. 1 is the most dangerous day of the year for us stay at home parents. Alone with the trick-or-treat candy all day; unsupervised! Help me hide the wrappers!

Watered the front yard in the dark since I didn't want the little ghoulies walking the neighborhood to start wandering through the garden to get to the front door.

Had to tend to Mom a couple of times yesterday afternoon which caused me to totally forget to make the gingerbread and cider. But under the circumstances a Rum and Coke was the better choice anyway. ;)

I think we only had 6 or 7 trick or treaters so we put all of the candy bars in the freezer to munch on later.
