Lovely posting, my Sedums are just beginning to blush, and also a favourite of bees. Sadly my Hypericum sort is long finished with blooming. Interesting thing about sint jans kruid, as we all it— we never planted it, the spontaneously appeared and I left it. Did you plant yours, or was it deposited by birds or voles? Just curious. It is such a good feeling I get when I see your pics.
Sjoerd, I bought the plants on sale in July, and they are still in their containers. I am thinking about planting them the the front border, hoping for low maintenance. I don't know how they will handle the conditions there. They seem to grow well around here with no particular care.
Chortle— mate you cannot post too many pics for me. Hypericum plants are a typical plant that the council uses for public spaces. It is a slightly different species from the shorter sint Janskruid here.
Today on garlic chives. Bees love those. Such a pretty flower. They are as good for an ornamental as they are for a vegetable.
