I was watching the World Championship Speed Skating yesterday which was taking place up in Norway...and our announcer told us that it was Mothers' Day there. Naturally I immediately thought of Droopy and Biita. I thought, well I can''t let this go by without mentioning it. Here's a bouquet out of my own garden--I thought "red and white" fitting.
Those flowers are gorgeous. Thanks for posting the picture. Our snow is slowly melting but our winter is far from over. We have been known to get snow as late as June but it never lasts...Sherry
Oh, thank you Sjoerd! Lovely flowers, and I can almost smell those phlox. I had a lovely Mother's Day, spent it having a long breakfast with my girls, then I went for a long walk in the sunshine with my horses, and had a delightful dinner, with strawberries and cream for dessert. *burp* (sorry). The girls had made a sweet card for me, and my oldest popped by the stables bearing more flowers and brownie cookies. I got lots of hugs from my granddaughters too.
Boy, oh boy--it sounds like you had a good spoiling. Glad to hear it. That long walk in the sunshine with the horses sounds quite nice and relaxing. Did you take a picnic as well...or a thermos? hahahaha Glad you liked the flowers.
Glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day, Droopy. Now don't forget ours Sjoerd. Those blooms are gorgeous.
