Happy St. Patrick's Day you all. I can claim at least two connections to Ireland....the Glenn's in Antrim, Ireland and the Sullivan's, somewhere in Ireland...hey Jerry we might be distant cousins. ;)

And the top of the morning to my might be distant cousin Toni! We came from Cork, a wee small town on the river Lee, from a time in the distant past when the potatoes did not do so well.

My ancestors came from County Antrim around 1750. I have traced my lineage back to John Hugh Kirkpatrick who came to America in 1750 at age 9.

John and Rosehannah Glenn left Antrim, Ireland in 1867/1868, they were 41 and 20. James Sullivan left Ireland in 1864 at 26.

    Toni,

My great-great-grandmother left Cork in 1847, 8 1/2 months pregnant with my great-grandfather and either gave birth onboard ship or soon after landing in Bangor, Maine. Moved to Charlestown, MA a few years later.
