This is great MG! I once had a very grumpy co worker who also worked solely with at risk youth, like myself. He put a Valentine in my mail box that said " I like you almost as much as bacon. But not quite. Happy Valentines Day". I laughed so hard, and picked him up a pack local smoked bacon. Maybe it was a ploy.....
I hope you all had a really nice Valentine's day. After 45 years of marriage we didn't bother to celebrate it.
I'm late for the party again as usual. We celebrated with a road trip to the islands north of us. They recently got bridges and tunnels so we decided it was about time we visited.
Well, I never celebrated it for obvious reasons. My Valentine was Valerie.Born 14.2.1944 - 9.6.2010 We married 22.9.1961. As a constant reminder. I have at least two HT roses..My Valentine. A rose well worth growing. Blooms are strong and well scented and last 19-29 days before fading.
