Happy Veterans Day

It's Veterans Day in the USA I would like to say Happy Veterans day to my fellow vets. Thank you for your service.

I'm embarrassed to be so late finding it, but my hubby (also a vet) and I
would also like to say our "Thank You's" to you, and so many others, too.

From a war protester and peace marcher, I thank every person who served in the military to protect our country. War is never justifiable, but our soldiers are still the bravest ever. Thank you all.

 

Hey Jan, 8) I wonder if you and I ever rubbed shoulders at any of those marches?

Washington DC, Detroit, and Chicago 1968 (and still got a dissertation written.)

 

Ah, well DC is a possibility, then.

Thank you Veterans for making our country a great place to live.

 

Lots of folks went to jail in DC. I was one of them. Did you have that special experience, Zuzu?

Thank You For serveing our country, My husband was in the Air Force.He never was in combat but he would have went gladly.
You have been on a busy schedule.

 

Me too, pond lady, me too. Was in the USAF during Bay of Pigs fiasco. Stood watch for three glorious nights on the beach at Biloxi.Got out of the AF and wet to DC with the rest of the hippies....Went to jail with them eoo. God bless our men in the service!

 

If I had done that my husband would have disowned me.I never ever thought about protesting.
