Has anyone grown Chilean Guava before? If so when do they flower and how do the berries taste? I've heard good things and just purchased two three old plants today.
I have read that the fruit is really good eaten raw, made into jelly or desserts. Will there be any special growing concerns, how similar to Chile climate is Vancouver Island? Good luck with your three and remember to post photos of their progress. Also, we do not have Ugni molinae in our plant database, so if you would be so kind as to suggest it, we get it entered.
