I'm not too certain about your top one. Is it a wildflower or in your garden? You've got loads of Gentiana in the US, and this could be one. It could also be a Campanula of some sort.

The last one looks like a grass, but I'm no good with grasses.

Top one is a Campanula rather than a Gentian. The second one looks rather like a Sedge rather than a grass. Are the leaves three cornered?

The second one is a Carex and their very difficult to key out, even more so with a picture, but at least you've got a genus. As for the first one, I agree with Palustris. :stew1:

Thank you so much for your help, I have a lot of plants that I cannot identify. A friend brought me a lot of plants this afternoon and I'm sure I won't know what all of them are when they get bigger and start blooming. I am so thankful for friends who share their plants even if I never learn their names. Thanks again.

Perhaps I discovered the name of the second plant, it disappeared over night so maybe it's a disappearing plant. LOL
There is absolutely no sign that a plant was ever there so it's certainly a mystery to me. I am glad I made the picture so I won't think I'm losing my mind.

What, somebody took it from your yard? I was going to ask for a shot of the leaves, but I guess you won't be able to do that now.

Can someone tell me how to remove the plants that have been identified?

Please don't do that, flower1lady, since the posts might be helpful for other people with mystery plants. :D
