Have you ever divided daylilies this late?

    They aren't blooming yet picture from last year. Should have been divided last fall. Got behind working on house.Making path so guy can fill lp tank.

    Figure I would ask here. Gave them some Compost tea. And God watered them well yesterday. So should be happy.

    Daylilies are most forgiving. You may divide them anytime. If they are tightly intertwined you can lose a few. I think the daylilies would appreciate being divided after they have finished blooming. Unless you have a pressing need to have them separated.

    I agree with Jerry. You can hardly kill a daylily if you try. I have accidentally dropped a tiny bit of a daylily tuber, and later found it on top of the ground, having sent roots down, and green sprouts up!

    Thought would make a path so guy could Drag hose to LP Tank. For Summer fill. I would like move tank to North side of the house. Until I found out How Much $$$$. Where it is at back up snow and makes HUGE drifts. Not this year
