I'm not sure if that's what they're called, but they are a chain saw chain with long ropes on both ends of the chain. You throw one end up over a limb that you want to cut off and saw the ropes back and forth until the limb is cut through. Have you used one and do they work well? I have several trees that I need to top out so I can take them down, but I can't climb and don't have the money to pay a professional. John
