I've burnt two of the fingers on my left hand rather badly and am finding it a bit difficult to type properly at the moment. Please bear with me and forgive any typo's and the fact that I may not be as prolific at answering your posts and blogs over the next few days. :(

Note to self: Never again try to clean a gas ring that a pot has just recently been heated up on!!

Ouch Eileen. Do you have some Aloe to put on them?

I have done that to a minor degree, worse for me on an electric stove than a gas one but I know how much that hurts.

So sorry to hear about your burns...been there done that. Another thing you might try is cocoanut oil. Refined doesn't smell, unrefined does but both work the same. If it gets cold it will be a solid but just body heat turns it to a liquid, and after you put it on it does not leave a oily feel. My Dad had some skin prob. and a therapist suggested it. The oil is a natural antiseptic and softens the skin so it can heal better. You should see how fast it fixed diaper rash on my little girl when the other stuff wasn't working. Around here you can find it in the grocery store around the cooking oils like olive oil. Hope you feel better soon.
