News just created, It is 7pm thursday night and I have just been talking on the phone to KK, he has arrived safely in Brisbane where he will stay for about 6 days.During that time we are hoping to meet up, perhaps he will come down to our place, about 1 hr drive from where he is staying. We will wait to see what his hosts have planned for him. He thanks everyone for the birthday greetings....and yes he is having a good time.

It is always exciting meeting with another stewbie. It is a seldom but rewarding experience. If your paths cross we hope you take lots of pictures. Jerry
If KK shows up, give him a big Texas size hug for me! What a wonderful thing--meeting a fellow Stewbie! I had the pleasure of meeting Dooley and Desert Rat, so I know how much fun it can be. Glad to hear he is having a great vacation, and has received all the Birthday wishes we've all sent.
I have not met any of you in person [so far anyway], but have met a friend from another forum. We got to spend a few hours together before her and her hubby had to leave. It was a lot of fun. I have a picture of us someplace. I have met some very nice people on the internet.
That is interesting news, Chocolate. Fingers crossed for you that KK will be able to make it to your place. He seems like a really nice guy to me.
Today..31/3 we met KK and his lovely wife Beckie.We picked them up about 10.30am and came back to our place for a little 'tea party' a walk around 'the farm' and then did a little touristy drive to show where we live.They are a delightful pair and good fun, we waved good bye at the train station after a great fun day of telling stories...fishing, family,gardening, cooking. KK has some photos to prove some of the places. He will be home in about 1 week so we will look forward to seeing some of his holiday pictures. A good day and look forward to maybe meeting them again.
