I thought some might find this humorous. Living in the Puget Sound Region of the Pacific Northwest USA has slightly different weather expectations than other places, but we all adapt. :D Would these temperatures be uncomfortable for you?

I had to go out and buy some sleeveless and short sleeved shirts this week and a couple of pairs of shorts.

Good heavens, that's winter here in Texas!
"Heat advisory" is issued here when the temps hit triple digits. So far the first of the three digits has been "1", but we can't count on it staying that cool  .

Oh! here I thought it was going to be really hot .. today it is a high of 75 (which is almost cool in the shade. I am going to need a jacket tomorrow for my market. It is supposed to be a high of 72. Sorry, Jewell... not much sympathy from the South or East going to happen for your temperatures. I think I would shrivel up and die if that was all the warmer it gets and I was living there.

Heat advisories are issued here by the National Weather Service when the nighttime low temp stays above 80 degrees, which means the day time high will be triple digits. An 80+ degree night means that the land and air temps don't get a chance to cool down, the next morning starts that warm and has nowhere to go but up. The higher into the 80's the overnight low is the higher into the 100+ the next day will be.

I know the heat (and cold in winter) are relative to what you are used to and I hope everyone stays smart and cool during your heat wave.
I will try not to laugh at your heatwave, if you don't laugh at our frigid winter. ;)

    Yeah... those temps sounds heavenly!
And what about that arctic blast coming in the next couple of days? Can you imagine getting temps in the 40s at the end of July? :-D

Was on the news that the Great Lakes area could have temps in the 40s. If that happened here, I'd be so mad! :D

:D I'd die in your comfort zones for Texas, the South, East and Midwest, but I did get a giggle at our "heat advisory". :D it is nice to "warm up" and be able to buy summer clothes. It has been ages since we had a warm summer.

Evening temps in the 40s are not uncommon here in July. :( Different zones for different folks. It is always mossy and green here though. :-D

    wow.
    That is their heat advisory?
I've seen hotter temps in Maine, including that 10 or 20+.
