Beautiful blooms, especially with raindrops on them. I would love to be sitting out in your garden enjoying what sounds like a heavenly weather day to me too.

The raindrops add an extra dimension to the great photos Philip. There are some people in Texas that would like to "borrow' your rain clouds. :)

    Hi Cheryl,
i suppose i should consider myself lucky with just the 70F,..and its not too hot to work in,..but the rain spoils it,..lots of rain,..no point trying to dig soil at present.

    Hi Jerry,
its true what they say,..one man's drink is another man's poison,..we all want sun and enough rain to keep everything growing,..we sure get enough rain here.

It sounds as though we shared exactly the same weather conditions today Philip. One minute bright, hot sunshine and then torrential rain then more sun. We were at the hospital as I had an appointment to see about getting one of my hips replaced. Our car was rather dusty when we went in and needed a wash. When we came out the car was sparkling so Ian doesn't need to wash it now for a few days. There are distinct advantages to our British weather sometimes. :-D

Your raindrop-covered blooms are lovely, especially those Verbascium and Isostoma flowers. Heavy rain, blistering sun ... sounds a little like our mid-Summer before the monsoonal rains move in.

    Hi Eileen,
i was watching the direction those clouds were heading,..North East direction,..right in line to you, ,..and my car also had a good wash after driving along the dusty avenue on the Victorian Estate,..so Ian and myself did gain from the weather.

Sorry to hear you had an appointment to have a hip replacement,..though if you need it then i can only presume you are in pain with the present one,..so having a new one will be like a new life,..i have a lady friend who had two replacements,..not a bother on her since,..dances,.. walks the dogs,..and just about everything her old painful hip prevented her from doing,..so not to worry,..i wish you well.

    Hi Bernieh,
glad you liked the blooms with raindrops,..as soon as the rain stopped i was into the garden like a shot,..you reminded me of Monsoons,..how everything changes,.. rapidly,..gullies and Wadi's one minute dusty,..then turned into rivers,..you live in a very interesting place,..all of my family headed down under,..some remained there,..i was the only one who didn't venture there.
