Hello everyone! I used to post on here quite a bit a couple of years ago. But after the birth of my 4th child, I found that time was a precious commodity. That baby is now a 3 year old and I'm getting back in the swing of gardening. Unfortunately, many of my perennials didn't do well with the benign neglect and are gone now. Some of the lilies made it and the centaurea took over a large area. But I am in the process of clearing and dividing and just planted lots of annuals this year. This fall, I plan on putting in more lily bulbs and other perennials. Plus, my wonderful hubby just built me a very large arbor next to the house on which I've planted several trumpet vines. I love hummingbirds and hope that those orange flowers will be calling them in in droves next year or so. I hope to see some familiar "faces" around here after all this time and to make some new friends too. Happy gardening!
Well Hello again to you. Some names of members who haven't posted in a while do pop into my head once in a while and yours has too. 2-3 years!!! Wow, bet you had a lot of forums posts to catch up on Glad you have returned. Don't forget that we still love photos of plants and gardens and kids and pets too.
Welcome home Jakrum. I'm so glad you've got time to garden again, and with four budding gardeners to train you might get lovely results too.
Hello stranger!! It's great to see you posting here again. With four children, a house and a husband to look after neither wonder it's been some time since you were posting or thinking about gardening. I'd love to see a photograph of the arbor you hubby built for you (not that I'm turning green with envy or anything. ) I hope the trumpet vines grow well and flower profusely and that they attract an abundance of hummingbirds, bees and butterflies to your garden. So nice to have you back in the fold again. :-D
Welcome back to the Stew. It is always a warm, friendly place to meet old friends and make new ones. Jerry
Welcome back Julie from another Wisconsinite. Glad you are able to get back out to work in your gardens. Sounds like you have quite the job ahead of you. But it will be worth the effort to see it all coming back to bless your hard work with beautiful colors once again. Have a great day and stay cool.
