If all kids have flown the coop and you think about down sizing your home some day don't wait. It’s not a job for somebody that’s 76 years old. We moved on July 23rd and just now finishing up unpacking. Lowes will be erecting my garden shed on Nov 7th. If the weather is mild this fall, I will be laying out my landscaping/garden beds and hopefully this spring I will be back to gardening.

I had a feeling you were going to be busy with the new house John. I'm pleased the unpacking is finally at an end. Now you can concentrate on your garden and get it ready for next year.

You've been missed! Now you're pretty well settled and looking forward to gardening, which is good. I'll look forward to reading your posts and hearing how the garden plans are going.

Thanks all. I will be needing about a ton of news paper/cardboard and several yards of mushroom compost. I may have to tackle a couple of Grandsons along they way. ;)

Hi John, welcome back. For us it took us 6 whole months to get settled. Nice to know that you are getting settled too in your new home sweet home.

    How is your new garden?
