I have missed all of you lovely People, had to go to Germany to take care of my Brother who had a Stroke and nobody to take care of him. He is doing much better now and in a convalescent home till he can go home to be on his own again with supervision. Hubby is happy to have me back ( I think ) and the Garden a mess. Its been so hot this summer everything suffered. Now I can relax and get things ready for winter. It is a bummer to be without a computer for so long and had withdrawals at first, but I learned to live without it. I am happy to be back in the good old USA, couldn't live in Germany again, its lovely to visit and see my old hometown but never stay. Hello again, missed you. Monika.

Hi Monika, Get well wishes for your brother. My ancestors came from Germany and Switzerland, but I have never been there. I was gone from the board for awhile too.

Welcome back happyzinnia. Were you gone all summer? WOW, bet your hubby did miss you. Glad your brother is improving. Strokes are very terrible but usually mild ones can be overcome. My daughter had 8 over a 24 year period. She overcame all of them but the last one. Your brother just has to keep up the fight to recover. It's all in the fight and fire you have in ya. Keep him stimulated.
