Hi Emma, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. We were all beginners who knew nothing about gardening when we started so please remember do not hesitate to ask your questions. We have several members in the U.K. who will be familiar with your growing conditions and the rest of us know everything there is to know about flowers in general.....NOT! but we all have a very good time learning. Forgot to mention that we request photos of all plants, soon to be garden areas, those areas as they turn beautiful from all your hard work, hobbies, pets, local scenery, etc We are generally a nosey bunch. :-D
As soon morning comes and kids are at school i will take some photos of my garden for everyone to see
Hi Emma and this time a warm welcome from up north in Scotland. I hope the recent flooding hasn't affected you down there in Surrey. I'll look forward to your photographs and getting to know you. :-D
Emma, consider yourself part of the family! We all love gardens, pets, children, photos of same. We are in Texas, but if I can be of any help at all, I'll jump in!
Thank you all for your messages. Eileen the floods have nearly gone now. We had them very bad here but now the rain is back again. I have just drawn a plan of my garden and uploaded so people can give me ideas

Hi Emma and welcome from a very cold place where there is nothing but white stuff as far as I can see and beyond. Please feel free to add pictures of all your children too....pets, etc. All pictures are enjoyed by us all.
Hi Emma, welcome to GardenStew from Chelmsford MA USA. You will find us a friendly group of people from around the world that enjoy gardening and helping when the occasion arises. We are always interested in pictures, after all, that is usually the only way we see each others gardens. With the many topics we discuss there is always something interesting happening. Please, make yourself at home and welcome to our family. Jerry
Hello and welcome Emma. I'm just a bit west of you in North Wiltshire and equally fed up with the rain and wind.We are not near any rivers and haven't had to deal with flooding but you have my commiserations if you have.
