toni- i'm pretty lucky to live right next to the beach here in sunny california so i surf when it's not too cold. i like to call myself a gardener, though i think my garden really grows itself with just a little help from me. :-D mostly i'm a newbie gardener. i suddenly found myself with a lot more time than i'm used to, so i think i'll try my hand at planting a few more veggies around my small yard. looking forward to getting some good advice from everyone!
