    Hi Elizabeth.

Don't forget to look up. Most trees and woody shrubs (nearly all except the conifers and a few that reproduce vegetatively) have flowers as well. Here in Australia we have some Grevilleas, Eucalypts, Banksias, Corymbias and Callistemons with flowers that outshine most-all plants.

Hi Elizabeth, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. It probably won't be long before your will be wondering where in the world you are going to put all the plants you fall in love with. I took all the grass out of our front and back lawns to make room for mine. :)
