Hello all. I live in at the moment very windy Arizona. We are close to Kingman on Route 66 at about 2800' elevation with hot windy Summers and cold freezing winters.
Our Garden gets a little bigger every Year since our soil has no nutrients and has to be built up. We do grow some exelent Tomatoes and Squash. We also have lots of Fruit Trees and I have my Roses and Flowers.
I am always looking for help with one thing or another, so I hope to find it here. I am looking forward to chatting with you.

Welcome! We just moved to Texas from Mayer, Arizona. We know your part of Arizona. We had some land in Seligman once. Hop in and ask questions. We all kick in to help answer them. Hope you enjoy the site. dooley

Thank you all for the big welcome. I am sure I will enjoy this place.
Late last afternoon I noticed that my ( ) filched Iris from the abandoned House next door was blooming. I wanted to take a pic in better sunlight and last night and this morning the Wind just shredded the Blossom. So now I will wait till the next Bloom.
    So thanks again.
    Monika

Hi Monika, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.
We have been very windy for the last few months here and it's got my Iris leaning a lot.
