I've never been to your part of Canada but I love BC. Sometimes I wish I lived up there as I just think Canadians are terrific!

Hi there! I have skied (never looks right!) in Sunshine Valley and stayed at Banff Springs....oooo lovely Canada. Other half spent time there as a lad and loved it also! I have loads and loads of houseplants, and a mother-in-law tongue which our neighbours gave me when they moved. You are right, you can pretty much neglect it and still it grows! Looking forward to hearing all about you!

Hello from Oregon! I used to have a Mother-in-Law Tongue, gave it as a gift to my Mother-in-law loooong ago, and she still has it. Said she's tried to kill it by neglect more than once, but my Father-in-law apparently thought it was funny to have it around and would water it when she wasn't watching.

Glad to have you joining in!
