I'm a gardener in central Florida who's constantly experimenting with a wide variety of vegetable plants. Winter is the easiest time to grow here, and if you can keep your garden safe from the once-a-year frost many things will flourish. I'm always looking for suggestions on what can be accomplished given the climate in this area.
Welcome, FloridaJoe, from mid-Norway. Not much growing here at the moment, except my frustration over a really stupid winter. Looking forward to hearing about your projects, hobbies, pets and such. Yes, I'm nosey.

Hi there Joe. Lovely to have you join us here at GardenStew. If you love growing veggies then you'll have to meet up with another member of ours, Sjoerd, as he grows lots of different types of vegetables on his allotment and you can compare notes.
hello from Mich. It'll be interesting to hear how florida gardens in the winter. As I won't be doing any of that for another 2 months atleast. Maybe we all can exchange any information so we can all learn together.
Hello FloridaJoe Welcome from sunny South Africa. I am looking forward to reading the posts regarding your veggie experiments.
