I have heard great reviews about Garden Stew so when we were told that BHG was going away on the garden talk forum, it was recommended we try this site. A little about me. I'm a zone 3 gardener who gardens at 4600' on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountain Range. I love to garden both veggie and flowers. I love that this site has spell check, not all do.... LOL
Hi Echoes, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. 4600' feet, wow....we are roughly 460' feet above sea level, sorta flat around here We would love to see photos of your garden and local scenery, especially something from the top of a mountain looking out over other mountains...like I said it's sorta flat around here.

Hi Echoes, welcome to GardenStew, here we have something for everyone. Forums, blogs, gardens and lots of plants keep everyone humming. An assortment of animals populate the members pages as well as gardens from far off places. There is never a dull moment around here. Welcome aboard. Jerry
Welcome to the Stew! I couldn't add much to what Jerry said, except that folks here are very friendly and nice. We're happy to help with problems, and to applaud successes. And we do love photos!
Another welcome from Texas! We moved here from Arizona a little over 3 yrs ago. We lived at 4,300 ft. I think it was a bit warmer though because we were zone 8/9, right on the edge. We could grow some things from both zones. I love looking at mountains but none here. dooley
