This is my first post so I would like to say that I may be needing help from time to time though I don't have much to offer in return. This is my first attempt at a garden, though I was raised helping my Grandparents in their huge garden. If all goes well I hope to be growing all heirloom vegitables in a year or two. Hope to write more soon. THANKS!

Welcome from coastal mid-Norway. I know nothing about Tennessee, so anything you wish to share will be welcome. Do you have any pets, other hobbies, family? This is a good place to be, so hop in and make yourself at home.
Morning Gripohook. (Well it's morning here in Scotland anyway!! ) So glad you've joined us here at GardenStew. I know nothing about Tennessee either so perhaps you could post come photographs for us - we do soooo love looking at others piccies.

Hi Griphook and a big welcome from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. My hubby-to-be grew up in Oak Ridge (a way's off, I know), but from what I hear you've got a great state to garden in! There's still plenty of time to get started on warm-season veggies this year, maybe you could do a test-run if you're not ready for the full deal? Nice to have you in the stew!
Welcome Griphook from Southern Maine. Plenty of great people here with lot of knowledge. Glad to have you. Enjoy!
