I found this site while doing research on building fairy houses. My sister and I live on a 1 acre lot outside of Idaho Falls, Idaho. We have 3 ponds and several large flower gardens, 4 raised beds for vegetables and a small greenhouse. It keeps us busy! I must admit that my sister is the real gardener and I mostly help. I also make quilts and other crafts. I saw some fairy houses on-line and decided to make my own. I thought they would be fun to tuck in with the flowers. I already have a 2 foot dragon that lives in the roses all summer. I have to go to work now. I will check back tomorrow.

Welcome to GardenStew SueLynn ;) I would love to see the progression of your fairy house project. Would it be possible for you to keep a record of it here? We may be able even to chime in with ideas. Have a look at our blog feature, it may be ideal for this and we can comment on the progress :)

    Hope you enjoy it here!

Hello suelynn, would love to see your fairy houses, I never got mine done, too many projects, too little time.
