Hi! My name is Annie and I live in East Tennessee, USA, at the foot of the beautiful Smoky Mountains. I'm an organic gardener, or maybe should say obsessed gardener as my family would probably classify me. :-D
I also love photography, nature and these mountains I call home. So happy to have found you all!

Welcome, Annie! We have a lovely member from Tennessee, Ronni, whom you'll enjoy meeting. We have lots of other members that will soon become gardening friends. It sounds as if you'll fit right in (we love photos, are also obsessive gardeners, and like to discuss plants).

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! So happy to have found such a great group of gardeners! I garden with an old dog, Jed, the other "old dog" stays in the house cause he doesn't care for gardening too much! :-D The garden is up on a hill, seems like it is mostly one huge boulder covered by a couple inches of heavy clay. ;) Not ideal and a lot of work, but I love it still. We have 4 seasons, but none are too severe. I love everything about plants...their place in history, folklore, science and their beauty. I'm looking forward to learning more and getting to know everyone!

High Five to my fellow Tennessean! Nashpatch dweller here. :)

Welcome to the Stew! :) My poor plants would never have survived without the help and wisdom of the folks here, novice gardener that I am! I think you'll enjoy yourself if you stick around!
