Hi and welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. Have fun wandering through the forum topics, lots of good information and gorgeous photos to enjoy.
Thank you. Yes wandering I am.. thought I saw a section for cacti & succulents but can't seem to locate it now. There's definitely some good information & photos here, glad I found this site.
Hi Pandookie and a hearty welcome to GardenStew We have a lot of Texan members on the site so you'll feel right at home Glad to meet you!
Hi Pandookie, Welcome to the 'Stew' from Chelmsford MA. You will find loads of info on many subjects. If you can't find what you want, just ask. Many of us have been stewing for several years. Many, many gardens, inside and out. Welcome to the gardengroup many of us call home. Jerry
Thanks for the warm welcome. Is there a cacti section? I'd like to post some photos of a few I have growing & also see others people in my area may be growing.
You can post images of Cacti in the Members Gallery. To view cactus or cactus related discussions type in 'cactus' in the search feature at the top of the forums page. Individual cactus can be found by typing in 'cactus in the 'plants' section search engine also located at the top of the forums page. Jerry
Hi there Pandookie and this time a big, warm welcome from Scotland. I'm so glad you found us and I look forward to getting to know you.
Welcome! I don't do gardening since we moved from Texas to Wisconsin. We live in an apartment now but we lived outside of Madisonville, Texas until a few months ago. I'm glad you have a space for a garden or some cactus anyway. We had several varieties of cactus in our yard. We had cactus when we lived in Arizona, too. dooley
Welcome from a small farm in central Texas! We have a few cacti in the pasture, which we are trying to keep from spreading. We are avid gardeners, have habitat for lots of feathered and furry critters, and enjoy Texas weather (ask me again in July).
Thanks Jerry for the helpful info. And thanks again all for such a kind welcome. Dooley, Madisonville is a beautiful place, I'm only familiar with there because I have to pass through when visiting a family member in Buffalo.
