I have been looking for a gardening forum for a while now. I'm so glad I found this one. I live in S. Idaho at 5800 feet so I have a very short summer but my husband and I are retired and just celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary. We are avid gardeners, both flowers and vegetables. I'm looking forward to getting to know you. 2ofus
Welcome to Gardenstew! It's the best garden forum around. Lots of people with gardening experience willing to help. I haven't been in Idaho but did live in Arizona around that elevation. dooley

Hi and welcome to GardenStew from hot and dry north central Texas. I spent a week in Twin Falls with a quilting friend in March 2002. I woke up one morning to snow on the ground and falling all day and loved it....my friend thought her Texas friend was a bit 'touched' in the head though.
Hi there 2ofus and, firstly, let me welcome you to our world wide online gardening family. I'm from Scotland in the UK. Secondly Happy 48th wedding Anniversary. I hope you and your husband celebrated in style.
Forgot to wish you a happy 48th anniversary! If you let Jerry Sullivan know your birthdays and anniversary date, you'll be swamped with good wishes from Stewies. Bless him, he keeps a spread sheet with everyone's important dates, and lets us all know about them so we can party together!
Hello, 2ofus, welcome to the Stew; I think you will fit right in.. It occurs to me that I've not read anyone's comments/discourse on the unique problems associated with gardening at altitude.. Hank
