My name is Bill Peglow. My wife and I live in Lincoln, Ne. I taught junior high social studies for 35 years. Now I am semi-retired, and working as a Courtesy/Security Representative for the University of Nebraska, Lincoln Athletic Department.

My wife is the real gardener in the family. My hobby is garden railroading. Garden railroad is building a model railroad outdoors. I am coming to Garden Stew in hopes of getting ideas for constructing different projects related to my railroad.

Warm welcome to you from mid-Norway! :stew2: I hope you'll find some inspiration here, and I'd love to see photos of your hobby. I've never seen anybody making a railroad in a garden before.

Welcome from Wisconsin! Please show us some pics of your garden railroad. I have 2 sons aged 4 1/2 and 2 that are huge train fans. If they see those pics, they probably will bug me to no end to put a railroad in our garden.

Welcome to the stew Bill and wife from So. ME. I will be interested in pics of your garden railroad. I have seen one on TV, but I don't know anyone who's done it. It sounds fun. Enjoy!
