    Hello
I wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I am Kim. I am a mom to four great kids 2 are grown and two are 11 and 9. I have three still at home with me. I love to garden and really enjoy keeping my fingers in the dirt.

I have had chronic back problems now for several years which have severely curtailed my gardening activities but I still do as much as I can.

I have decided to have some house plants this year inside to bring the greenery in. I hate winter and with my arthritic problems winter and cold weather really make my pain worse. So I hope this helps keep me cheered up!

I look forward to getting to know you and to learn some tips and tricks from you here!

    HI there all
Thanks so much for the warm welcome! I am sure I am going to enjoy my time here. Kuntrygal we live about 45 minutes south of Clarksville. My brother is at Ft Campbell now getting ready to retire. Small world huh?
I am not going to give up my garden, I am just going to bring it in with me lol and make it smaller so I can handle it.
My hubby just shakes his poor head and helps me with what I want to do.
I am really interested in looking into some hydroponics for veggies as I cannot do the regular rows and things anymore. I just cannot bend and hoeing or weeding is out.
I am trying to learn what I can about that.
    Kim

Welcome, Kim from Kuwait. I have some info on hydroponics that I can send to you. I used hydroponics in NJ because I wanted a longer growing season. I am sure you will enjoy it here at the Stew.
