hello i'm pat from frigid minnesota. new here. was wondering if anyone knew of where to find some dragon fruit. i hear it is grown in florida and california but i am not sure. would be awesome to find some. i want three varieties. pink and pink pulp, pink and white pulp and yellow. also the beautiful san pedro cactus. i love and have some cacti to trade if anyone is interested. uh..... any questions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated and helpful. any other interesting cacti or tropical fruits highly coveted too. like maybe some citrus fruit tree cuttings that won't take fifteen years to fruit from seed. cool beans thanks for having me, pat moderator's note: moved topic to more appropriate forum
Hi Pat, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. How about posting your request for the cactus plants/seeds and offer to trade seeds you have, in the Plant and Seed Exchange Forum. More members will see it and you might find what you are looking for quicker than if it is buried in the introduction post.
Hi, I am a newbie too, only been here a week ! I wish to say welcome and I do not know about the fruit you are requesting, we have a few peach trees, but that is about it Have Fun
Hi Pat, welcome. My first encounter with dragon fruit was in Vietnam when I was there for a holiday. Now this cactus is also cultivated big scale in Malaysia. Hope you can find it.
Welcome Pat to the Stew... I happen to have a dragon vine, she is a few years old now, but no flowers yet or fruit, sniff..Must come in inside for the winter. You can order the fruits on line..
Good luck with your fruit/plant search. Welcome from the Pacific NW, Washington state. Happy gardening.
