    Hi Toni

We live in the woods so lack of sun can be a problem. I like the Hosta and Astilbe. Ferns do well and I have a lot of something called Missouri Yellow Bell (maybe a primrose) which seems to bloom in sun, in shade, just about anywhere. I have some pictures on My Pictures but I don't know how to get them to this site.....any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Lynn

    Thanks Droopy

Many thanks on info about posting pictures. I'm tech challenged and need all the help I can get. I'll have to pick your brain about the "slugs"...they are after my Hostas....Lynn

Welcome Lynn, to the Stew. You have joined a very fun and friendly bunch. I live in hot and very humid East Texas. Exactly where in NC do you live? That is a beautiful part of the country! ;)

Hi, Lynn. Welcome from Louisiana. I'm new here myself but feel right at home already. We vacationed in NC Smoky Mountains last summer. It is so beautiful there! I keep telling DH I want to LIVE there.

Welcome to our stew. I see no-one has given you anything about your slug problem. I'll take a shot at it...I've heard pouring salt on them will deffinatly dispose of them. I've never tried as I haven't had problems with slugs. Again a warm welcome to you from Michigan.
