Hi all! My name is Zoe and I live in Carrboro, NC (in the middle of the state). I'm pretty new to gardening. I started about two years ago when we bought our first townhouse with a little square of dirt in front of it. I've planted a few shrubs, perennials and bulbs, and I've also started building up a collection of houseplants at work. But I'm definitely inexperienced! Hope to learn more from all of you here.

Thanks for the friendly welcome. I'm excited about finally learning how to garden instead of muddling my way through.

I've been meaning to start taking photos of my plants, so I will be sure to do so. Plus, I'm going to the mountains this weekend to see the colorful fall leaves, so I'll have to remember to post some photos from that outing as well.

Hi Zoe and welcome from New Orleans. Your mountains are certainly worthy of dozens of pictures. So shoot away, post and post some more. We will be most grateful.
