Hi there, I'm new to the forum. I must admit I'm not much of a gardener, plants that thrive in my yard do so under thier own free will :-D .

I've recently completed some landscaping around our pool area and am enjoying seeing everything settle in and get comfy in thier new surroundings.

I hope to learn alot from folks that have "been there before" See you around the forum!!

The landscaping around your pool sounds intriguing jsnyder1. It would be great to see some photogrphs of it. Welcome to GardenStew and feel free to ask as many questions as you like as we enjoy helping each other out. :stew1:

    Thanks for the Welcome

I'll get some pics of the pool landscaping up this weekend to show. I can't take all the credit for it though. A friends son is at school for landscaping and I agreed to have him do some work for us this spring break.

We spent alot of time in the planning phase and he complete everything while we were out of town. I must say, I really enjoyed my backyard before, but now I'm crazy about it!! :stew1:

It's still in it's infancy, but you can picture what it will become and that's awesome!! I've very excited. As I said in my introduction post, I'm new at gardening and I'm hoping to keep everything thriving. It's exciting to see the lemon tree with fruit and the other plants with new growth. I'm hoping they'll like thier new home enough to stick around for awhile! :-D

A warm welcome to you from spring-like mid-Norway. :stew2: My climate is a lot different from yours, so anything you wish to show is exotic to me. You've picked a good place to join. Hop in and make yourself comfortable. :D
