    Hello Everyone! Pasadena, Md

Hello, I just bought a house in Pasadena, Md. I can't wait til spring to get my hands in the dirt! I was too busy working on the inside this spring when we moved in so I was only able to plant some Geraniums and some Lantana. Zinnias are my favorite and only 2 grew due to the heat we had this summer, and late planting. However, I have several indoor plants that will keep me satisfied over winter. I have a 3 year old little boy that keeps me busy, and likes to help Mommy in the Garden. My boyfriends' 10 year old daughter, well I am still working on her....started her out this year with her own gardening gloves! I am loving this site so far, and still trying to work my way around it, so forgive me if I post to the wrong spots. :stew2:

Hi Zinnia and welcome to GarenStew from a freezing Scotland.
Many congratulations on your new home and garden - how exciting. :smt026
If you start planning what you want to do with your outdoor space throughout the winter it will not only keep you from having withdrawal symtoms but give you a good head start for next year. :-D
We love 'before and after' photographs so don't be shy about posting some of your home.

I don't believe it, while I was writing my above message - Eileen made her post just 2 minutes before me! :-D

Oh well, at least I was second at something then (which I will now take as a windfall)! :)
