Hello Everyone! Pasadena, Md Hello, I just bought a house in Pasadena, Md. I can't wait til spring to get my hands in the dirt! I was too busy working on the inside this spring when we moved in so I was only able to plant some Geraniums and some Lantana. Zinnias are my favorite and only 2 grew due to the heat we had this summer, and late planting. However, I have several indoor plants that will keep me satisfied over winter. I have a 3 year old little boy that keeps me busy, and likes to help Mommy in the Garden. My boyfriends' 10 year old daughter, well I am still working on her....started her out this year with her own gardening gloves! I am loving this site so far, and still trying to work my way around it, so forgive me if I post to the wrong spots.
Hi Zinnia and welcome to GarenStew from a freezing Scotland. Many congratulations on your new home and garden - how exciting. If you start planning what you want to do with your outdoor space throughout the winter it will not only keep you from having withdrawal symtoms but give you a good head start for next year. :-D We love 'before and after' photographs so don't be shy about posting some of your home.
Yahoo!!! I am finally the first one to welcoming someone else over here at GardenStew! So welcome to GS, from the coastline of Karachi Pakistan!
I don't believe it, while I was writing my above message - Eileen made her post just 2 minutes before me! :-D Oh well, at least I was second at something then (which I will now take as a windfall)!
Hi Zinnia -- welcome to GS from a real neighbor! Guess where I live? In Pasadena too! Congratulations on your new home. I hope you love it. I know you will love GardenStew. That goes without saying..
