Looking forward to learning a lot here - I have had a small garden for years, but finally my allotment has come up so I am going to be busy.

Hi Laura, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.
Nothing like the excitement of planning a new garden.
We have two allotment gardeners on the forum so I am sure they will have lots of advice on how to do the most gardening in the space allowed.

We would love to share your new garden thru pictures showing the progress of getting it going.

Thanks everyone - it is a lot warmer on this forum than on a wet and windy lotty watching commuter trains go by. Better than being on the train though .... :D
