I guess I did it all backwards! I've already posted. I'm a retired estate gardener married to my high school sweetheart. 1 dog, 2 cats, and whatever else is out there- squirrels, raccoons, oppossums, birds, lizards, mosquitos, ants, scale, spider mites.... If you count radish seeds, I've been gardening since 4. My grandmother was a gardener, my mother is pretty good at it, too, so it must be in the genes. Way back when, my ancestors came from Corsica. My wife is just a good 'ol coonass. Did I say that? My home and gardens were destroyed with Hurricane Rita in 2005, and we then moved into the house she grew up in. Lots of mature trees, which none were damaged. In discussing gardening, I have a strong tendancy to incorporate philosophy into it, as I have very specific views regarding this incredible earth we all share. I've had some great gardening positions in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Tampa. Other interests are maps, non-fluff fiction, skyscrapers, and anything and everything.
Blissful... in naming all those "pets"... you forgot the crawfish! :-D And for the record... welcome from a "just west of you" neighbor.
How could I have missed that? Got a few chimneys out there, and about 5 yrs. ago my cat delivered one to our door.
Blissful sending you a big welcome from Wisconsin. Glad you found this great online community with a lot of helpful and friendly folks. Looking forward to see your gardens or whatevery you have been up to.
