i am new to the forum, but have been vegetable gardening 5 or 6 years now. i began a couple of years after my father passed as a way to keep my mother busy and happy. she and my father gardened together most of their married life (or as much of it as i remember). i am looking forward to cherry picking all the knowledge you guys have!

i grow a number of things here; tomatoes, squash (yellow and zucchini), appx. 10 varieties of peppers, scarlet runner beans, green beans (pole type), eggplant (ichiban), cucumbers, okra, beets, turnips, kohlrabi, calico limas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and hops!
