My name is Shirley and I have just embarked upon a project to "grow our own" on our roof-top garden, 2 floors up!

Needless to say we suffer from quite diverse weather conditions... :~) Extremely hot in the Summer and extremely windy in the Winter.

But so far we have lots of tomato plants :-D , basil, pepper, thyme and a few more.

    Fingers crossed, I guess!

    Best Wishes

    Shirl

    What a lovely Welcome.... :0)

Thanks for giving me such a lovely welcome :-D

I do have a blog which is on my profile which has some photographs of my herbs and tons of toms.

Currently, on the lookout for an old bath or two - as these are deep and I would be able to grow potatoes and carrots and I also want to grow PUMPKIN! So any tips on these veges would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is very sunny in Southend at the mo - so being water monitor is number 1 duty!

    Speak soon,
