Hi, My name is Phill. I just joined the adulthood by starting my fulltime job (after 6 years of study!) just a few months ago. And so when I come home I often find myself doodling with my plants as a stress relief. I live in an apartment with not so many windows so I am a bit limited to sun exposure. I enjoy film making and so now and then I will probably share some of my plant projects. Have a good week and I will see you soon =)
Hi Phill, welcome to Gardenstew from Chelmsford, MA, USA. WE enjoy meeting new people and share gardening experiences. Many of us have houseplants so you should feel right at home. Jerry
Welcome Phill!! I'm sure you'll love it here as much as we all do. I look forward to getting to know you.
Hi there from Texas ! Sjoerd is the same regional growing area that you are I think ! He will correct me if I am wrong ! I just mean temperature and growing conditions ! You will enjoy his posts as we all do !
Hello and welcome. I believe that Mart is (more or less) correct about our hardiness zones, in terms of southern Sweden and northern Nederland. I am down in West-Friesland and that is 8b, and the further north one goes in Sweden the more the hardiness zones change. Thanks for your kind words, Mart.
Welcome to the forum, Phil! We are on a small farm in central Texas zone 8a or 8b depending on the wind direction, growing what we like--flowers, vegetables, hens, and cats. You will like it here--friendly people with a wealth of knowledge about houseplants, and outdoor plants.
Thanks everyone for your kind greetings! Looking forward to be a part of this forum, and hopefully I can be of some use I live in the southern Sweden at Hardiness zone 8a, and by looking around the neighborhood I have seen a few exotic fruit trees that you not see that often in Sweden. These are good signs!
Hello there! I'm new here too. My five and I have got a modest orchard recently, now we do our best to not mess it up
Hi there and welcome ! Glad to have you aboard ! I have fruit trees too but some do not like our Texas soil ! Pears and apples do well but peaches and nectarines are impossible here ! Tell us about yours !
