Hello I'm new to Garden Stew and the forum. I only have a very modest - by USA standards - garden. But it's all mine, apart from sharing it with my cat William and I get to say what goes into it with no outside interference. Bliss. I am close to the coast on two sides and it's mainly very sandy. So it needs lots of added goodness throughout the year, else plants pack up on me for lack of nutrition. As the soil is a neutral PH I am lucky in that most things grow well as long as I manage to keep up with the watering and feeding. I am hoping to get lots of help & information from the more experienced gardeners and look forward to hearing from you.
Welcome from Wisconsin USA. Hope your weather is warmer than ours at the moment...summer came and went here!
Hi Victoriana and welcome. I'm in Maryland, the middle Atlantic area of US. I think your garden is lovely and William quite handsome.
Hello and welcome to our forums Victoriana from West Lothian in Scotland. :-D A coastal garden must be a lot of work but very rewarding too. I hope you'll post some photographs of your place so that we can all see which plants thrive for you.
Welcome from coastal North Carolina, Victoriana. Isn't it wonderful to have one's own plot to plan and plant? I know you'll enjoy hobnobbing with the "stewbies"

Welcome and "Hi, Victoriana". I'm sure you will enjoy it here. I am from the Puget Sound Region of Washington state. Not quite coastal, but lots of marine influences. Be sure and share pics. Can't wait to hear what does well for you in your garden.
