    hi i'm chris from the uk, i live in the north east. i came across this site by accident and have enjoyed looking around i have a greenhouse and started growing vegs last year and am ready to plant more.

    Chris, welcome! Do please post a picture of your winter broccoli. Ours here in central Texas is finished, but we have spring-planted broccoli in the garden now. Did you know that on most varieties, after you harvest the main head, little side shoot heads develop (and are sold at expensive grocers' as "broccoli florets")? The side shoot heads don't get as big as the main head, just about 3" across, but taste just as good!

    I have a fall, winter and spring garden. I may have a summer garden if the weather cooperates. Either it's too dry and hot or too much rain. Ugh!
