Our climate is temperate but my tastes in vegetables are Southeastern USA (okra, crookneck yellow squash, collards, etc). I have been successful with a number of these but recurring problems leave me with several questions I will be posting later. I live on a postage stamp lot with a northern exposure back yard. We have boxed in an area of about 26' x 10'. We do our own composting and that seems to be providing all the nutrients I need (ten foot corn!). I will be looking forward to hearing from any of you. Hi Terry, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. The size of the garden really doesn't matter, if you do it right We would love to see pictures of your crops and any other gardening you do.
Welcome! Even the sound of your town sounds lovely and picturesque! Some of my favorite online nurseries are based in Oregon. It's beautiful out there.
