I just joined. All I did was put the word 4 o'clocks in the search bar and got this site, and it was so interesting I just had to join. Hope to make a lot of friends here and maybe trade a few seeds when that time comes. Living in western N.C. for the past 7 years has been a gardening challenge, since we live where rocks abound. Water is abundant in the form of streams and undergrounds springs. A garden near the pond is a real plus this year.
Welcome craftbug waving to you from the other side of the state. No rocks here, just sand :-? . . . . . plenty of water but it's mighty salty.
Hello craftbug, from hot, humid Louisiana where we garden in clay. I take it from your name you are into crafts? Be sure to post some pics of your work and check out our crafts forum.
Welcome to the Stew Craftbug, from north Texas. Very happy you joined us. I don't garden rocks but in mid summer when the rain is very scarce the black clay I lovingly call soil is hard as rock.
Hello and Welcome to the STEW from Hank in Florida. Lots of convivial folks in this community. You'll probably like it here just fine. Hank

Welcome craftbug from Michigan. I assume because of your name that you also like to do crafts. What are your facorites?
Thank you all for the warm welcomes. Lived in Ohio for most of my life, been down here for 7 years and loving it. As for crafts, I will try anything once. My favs are crochet, card making and rubber stamps. Not sure of my way around here yet, but will be sure to post some pics when I find out where.
