    :-D

I've alway's been "addicted to dirt" for as long as I can remember. My mother had a VERY green thumb and I have been lucky enough to have her genes passed down. We live in a small 2 bedroom trailer in an older mobile home park and so my "lot space" is limited, but each year I have come up with something new. I grow berries, vegetables, and flowers of all kinds. I have learned to deal with the deer, (some things we share, others are off limits.) However I am most well known for my Sunflowers. (If I don't grow them my neighbors complain!) I have been working with Hypertufa on a regular basis for the last couple of years and sell pots and other creations at our local public market and on consignment. My most resent fun project was growing a Mimosa/sensitive plant. I think they are amazing!

    THANKS FOR THE WARM WELCOMES...

Thanks to everyone for your welcoming words and photo comments. I am looking forward to warmer and drier weather. However we have early pussy willows coming out and I have seen daffodils and crocus showing through as well. Spring is around the corner!

Hello from Nebraska! Here on the prairie, we have had two days now with above freezing temperatures, so there is a lot of melting to be rid of that 12" of snow that has been on the ground since Christmas. I can not see the ground yet, but I have faith  I can't wait until spring, and my lovely gardens come back! By the way, I am some what computer challenged, and do not know how to post photos. Any help would be appreciated Thanks[/b]
